South Sea pearls are organic manufactured pearls made of the shell of the same oysters that create the cultured Sea Pearls from the oyster Pinctada Maxima.   They are an affordable option to wear as compared to an authentic pearl which is created inside of the shell and natural materials that your pearl has been made with.  The shells of the oyster are crushed and melted and a coating is applied to give them their superior luster.  
 
South Sea Pearls have a wonderful weight to them when wearing with a luxurious feel.  This particular shell pearl is a rich shade of green-gray that has a metallic shine to it.  They give you the feel and weight of an authentic pearl at a fraction of the cost. 
 
This pendant doubles as a very nicely weighted pendulum.  When you want to work with your psychic energies, simply unclasp the necklace and dangle the pearl.  It has been handcrafted so that you will not lose the pendant when using your pendulum. 
 
This is a piece to last a lifetime.  The wire inside is sterling silver as well as the small floral bead on top of the shell pearl.  A single square dazzling swarovki bead rests on top and this just dazzles in the light!  Your shell pearl measures just over 1/2 inch across.  
 
I have hand tested your pendulum and it has a lovely swing to it.  I would suggest ordering it on the silver metal chain if you wish to use it for divination or dowsing.  You can order a leather necklace if you desire but it won't have the same swing effect.
